After Miles college we went to the civil rights park. Almost every time we go to that park I notice emotional reactions. Not from the students, but from the adults. Particularly Mr. Spivey, our bus driver. I have read about it and seen it on television, but that experience leaves a different impression. This park was a place where people met before they started their protest or demonstrations. They were usually met with dogs and fire hoses. I watched Mr. Spivey, the look on his face left an impression on me. This movement was not a TV show. It was real and should not be forgotten or downplayed.
